That's a common hunt for small businesses looking to streamline their bookkeeping! Switching accounting software can feel like a big step but finding a simpler method can really make a difference.

I ran into a similar situation a few years back when I needed something less complicated than what I was using. For simpler bookkeeping, many people often look at FreshBooks or Wave. FreshBooks is a real lifesaver for service-based businesses because it handles invoicing and expense tracking like a dream. Wave is also popular, especially since it has a free version for basic accounting needs.

It often comes down to what specific features you use most in Zoho now. Are you doing a lot of invoicing, or is expense tracking your biggest trouble?

We switched to Wave for our small biz and it's been super user-friendly, especially for basic bookkeeping and invoicing. I guess it does not have everything, but it gets the job done without the headache. :) I see that the user before me suggested it as well, so just saying you can trust us LOL.

Slickpie is a great lightweight alternative. Not too many features, but it does the job for what it is if you're after the most basic accounting service.
